Tyler Polak will return to Greenville after earning All-League honors in 2019
Greenville Triumph SC announced the return of four players from the 2019 roster, including First Team All-League selection Tyler Polak and the club’s leading scorer Jake Keegan, Friday morning. Polak and Keegan are joined by Evan Lee and Paul Clowes on Greenville’s current 2020 roster.
Polak earned All-League honors following the concusion of the 2019 season after an impressive first year in South Carolina. Polak led the league in interceptions and finished in the top ten among defenders in recoveries and duels won while captaining a Triumph side that earned 14 clean sheets.
Lee was also integral in Greenville’s defensive success, starting 28 of the club’s 30 League One games in 2019. The 6-4 defender led the Triumph in tackles and represented half of one of the stingiest center back partnerships in the league.
Keegan returns after having his 2019 season cut short due to a foot injury. Prior to being sidelined in August, Keegan was firmly in the League One Golden Boot race with his club-leading nine goals scored.
Clowes enters his second year with the Triumph after starting 21 League One matches and tallying a goal and an assist in 2019.
