Forward Madison play host to Greenville Triumph SC, on Saturday, September 25 for a USL League One Matchup, kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT at Breese Stevens Field. Forward Madison return home after an away match over the border with the side from Canada, where they came away with one point in the 1-1 draw with Toronto FC II.

The Flamingos will look to some of their top performers as of late, Ryan Sierakowski and Phil Breno. Sierakowski has been hot, he has scored his 3rd goal in the last four games for the Flamingos. For Breno it’s been a little different, as he has been a force to be reckoned with between the posts. Breno has had back-to-back USL League One Team of the week awards and will look to continue his stellar performances in the net.

Forward Madison FC currently sits with a record of 6-10-4, good enough for seventh place in the league standings, which is one spot off of the playoffs. FMFC has the most games left to play with 8 and will look to use that to their advantage as the season continues.

This week’s opponent is Greenville Triumph SC currently sits in third place in ULS League One standings with a record of 8-7-7. Greenville will look to its league-leading goal scorer Marios Lomis to continue to provide them with goals. Lomis currently has 12 goals to his name this season and provides most of the offense for Greenville. Greenville is coming off a 1-1 tie with FC Tucson and will look to bounce back and gain three points this week. 

Following Saturday Match with Greenville, Forward Madison FC will hit the road for a long stretch of matches beginning with a trip to the Northeast. There, FMFC will take on New England Revolution II at 4:00 p.m. CT.
