FORWARD MADISON FC U11 & U12 PRE-ACADEMY INFO
In collaboration with its Partner Clubs, Forward Madison FC today announced it will host a U11 and U12 Development Center Talent Identification Session, offering young soccer players born in 2014 and 2015 a unique opportunity to showcase their skills under the expert guidance of Forward Madison FC coaches and players. The session is designed to identify top talent and lay the groundwork for the club’s future academy development.
This exciting evening of soccer will serve as a crucial step in the formation of two new development pathways. From this ID Session, Forward Madison FC will select players to form a U11 and a U12 pre-MLS Next Academy team. These teams will provide a highly competitive and structured environment for aspiring young athletes, preparing them for potential advancement into the MLS Next system.
In addition, the session will play a key role in identifying talent from Forward Madison FC’s Partner Clubs to create a part-time Forward Madison FC Development Team. This innovative program will allow selected players to continue training and competing with their community clubs while also coming together for dedicated training sessions and games under the direct supervision of Forward Madison FC coaches. This dual approach aims to foster local talent development while providing exposure to a professional club environment.

Details for the U11 & U12 Development Center Talent Identification Session are as follows:
- Who: Players with birth years 2014 (U11) and 2015 (U12)
- What: An evening of soccer under the guidance of Forward Madison FC coaches and players
- When: Boys & Girls Sessions – June 9th 5:00-7:00pm (Reindahl Park)
- Outcome: Selection for U11 and U12 pre-MLS Next Academy teams, Girls Wisconsin State League teams, and identification for the part-time Forward Madison FC Development Teams (for players from Partner Clubs).

FMFC Development Centers offers a unique opportunity for elite-level players from various partner clubs within designated zones to come together and train in a challenging and inspiring environment. Led by Forward Madison FC’s coaching staff, these sessions will provide a high-level training experience, allowing players to develop their skills alongside like-minded and equally ambitious peers.
These specialized training sessions will be held at partner club locations and will feature a curriculum designed to push players to their full potential. Our FMFC coaches will focus on advanced technical skills, tactical understanding, and the development of crucial game intelligence. This exposure to different methodologies and a highly competitive training environment will be invaluable in accelerating the development of these young athletes while staying in their community club ecosystem.
A key aspect of the Forward Madison FC Development Centers is its role as a talent identification platform for the FMFC Academy. These sessions will provide our academy staff with a direct opportunity to observe and evaluate the most promising players from our partner clubs. Players who demonstrate exceptional ability, dedication, and a strong work ethic within the Development Center program may be identified for potential inclusion in the Forward Madison FC Development Team and for the Academy pathway.
