The Flamingos got the preseason campaign off to a good start with a 2-0 win against Marquette University’s men’s soccer team. With a squad largely consisting of trialists, FMFC controlled the tempo of the match, growing into the game as time went on. Technically, you could see Forward Madison implementing Matt Glaeser’s new system. An overall solid performance sets up Forward Madison nicely for the next preseason battle against Northern Illinois University on Friday, March 4th.
