The Flamingos continued their hot start to the preseason with a 3-0 against Northern Illinois University. Forward Madison controlled much of the possession throughout the match, limiting NIU to 2 shots on target. Eric Leonard scored his second goal of the preseason with a header as the first half came to a close. That’s now two headers that have gone in the back of the net for him so far this preseason. Matheus Cassini recorded his first assist of the season and Cesar Murillo netted his first goal of the season with a header into the back corner of the net. The Flamingos next preseason match takes them to Minneapolis for a matchup on Friday, March 12th against Minnesota United 2.
