Forward Madison FC has signed 27-year-old midfielder Audi Jepson, pending league and federation approval. The Wisconsin native spent his last season with the Flamingos, quickly becoming a favorite amongst Forward Madison fans.
“Audi has really impressed us during his time here in preseason,” Head Coach and Technical Director Matt Glaeser said. “It’s nice to return another player who is technical, hard working and willing to play on both sides of the ball. We are happy to have him back for 2022.”
Jepson was featured in 22 games last year in the pink and blue, starting 14. He tallied 1,253 minutes in 2021, assisting on 3 FMFC goals. Known for his creative playstyle and boundless energy, Jepson was integral in the Forward Madison midfield.
Jepson had already made a name for himself in the world of Wisconsin soccer prior to Forward Madison FC, winning plaudits as the Horizon League’s Offensive Player of the Year for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2017. Jepson signed with Saint Louis FC in 2018 and played there for two years.
Jepson entered the 2022 campaign as a trialist and quickly impressed the coaching staff in the preseason. Jepson will look to continue to be a playmaker and chance-creator for the Flamingos during the USL League One regular season.
