Forward Madison FC has released its much-anticipated 2023 USL League One schedule, featuring a Home Opener on April 15th. The club enters its fifth season led by second-year Head Coach Matt Glaeser, looking to bring a strong group of new and returning players to the USL League One playoffs for the first time since 2019. The season features one additional USL League One home match for a total of 16 in 2023.
The Flamingos open up the 2023 campaign on the road against rivals Union Omaha on Sunday, March 26th at 2pm CT. The team then travels to league-newcomers Lexington SC before returning to the friendly confines of historic Breese Stevens Field for the club’s first home match against Greenville Triumph SC at 6pm CT. The Home Opener will be a night to celebrate the club’s first five years in Madison, with tributes to the supporters and community members that have helped build and advance the club’s unique presence worldwide.

FMFC will play host to the 5th annual Battle For Madison friendly against the University of Wisconsin-Madison Men’s Soccer program on Saturday, April 22nd at 6pm CT. This yearly tradition is always a highly-anticipated matchup between the Badgers and the Flamingos and provides a fantastic atmosphere at the beginning of the season.
Forward Madison will play host to the two new clubs of USL League One, Lexington SC and One Knoxville SC, in 2023. The Flamingos will match up against Lexington on June 22nd and play back-to-back home matches against Knoxville on August 12th and September 9th. FMFC closes its 2023 campaign at home against Union Omaha on Saturday, October 14th at 6pm CT.
