Forward Madison FC Signs Ben Augee to a 25-Day Contract

Signing bolsters the dynamic Madison midfield on a short-term contract.

MADISON, WI: Forward Madison FC has signed Midfielder, Ben Augee, to a 25-day contract, pending league and federation approval. The 6’3” Oregon native makes his way to Madison following his time at FC Cincinnati and their MLS Next Pro team, FC Cincinnati 2.

“Ben’s earned this opportunity by coming into our group and competing every day,” said Forward Madison FC Sporting Director, Matt Cairns. “His profile fits what we are looking for in midfield and I believe he can be a player that represents us both in the short and long term.”

Augee spent most of his collegiate career at Gonzaga University before being drafted by FC Cincinnati in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft. During his two seasons at Gonzaga, Augee tallied seven goals and four assists in 35 games.

“Super excited to be joining the group and grateful for the opportunity to help the team in this stage of the season,” Augee said. “Everyone at the club has been great and I’ve started to gel really well! Excited to be playing in front of the fans!” 

Augee will join the ‘Mingos for their next match at Breese Stevens Field on August 12th at 7 pm against Greenville Triumph SC. Forward Madison FC remains unbeaten at home in the league after 8 matches and currently sits in 4th place in USL League One.
