Forward Madison FC has signed forward, Maouloune Goumballe, for the 2026 USL League One season, pending league and federation approval.
Goumballe joins the Flamingos after spending the 2024 and 2025 seasons with Sporting Kansas City II in MLS NEXT Pro. Across two professional seasons, he made 55 appearances, including 53 starts, while logging more than 4,600 minutes and recording 14 goals and five assists.
Before starting his professional career, Goumballe spent five seasons with the Hoosiers from 2019-23, he appeared in 108 matches, contributing 11 goals and 12 assists while helping Indiana capture three Big Ten regular-season championships, three Big Ten Tournament titles and make two NCAA College Cup appearances. He was also recognized as an Academic All-Big Ten selection three times. During his time at Indiana University, Goumballe was teammates with current Forward Madison FC players JT Harms and Herbert Endeley.
“We’re very excited to add Maouloune to our group. He has impressed us with his quality, work rate and mentality,” says Head Coach, Matt Glaeser. A versatile attacking player known for his high work rate and tactical flexibility, Goumballe brings the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball, earning him the reputation as a “Swiss Army Knife” on the pitch. “We feel that he fits the profile we like in our attacking players.”
Goumballe has also developed a reputation for coming through in high-pressure moments. During his time at Indiana, his late-season performances earned him the nickname “Mr. November,” highlighting his ability to make an impact when the stakes are highest.

With the USL League One playoff race heating up and every match carrying increased importance, Goumballe joins a Forward Madison side looking to climb the standings and make a deep postseason run.
