A tribute to the lakes that surround our city
Known as the club on the isthmus, Forward Madison FC embraces the lakes that surrounded them in a new jersey. The Regatta Kit and accompanying lifestyle capsule dubbed The Marina Collection, serves as an artistic tribute to Madison’s unique geography and vibrant sailing culture across Lakes Mendota and Monona.
“Madison’s relationship with its lakes is timeless, and we wanted this collection to reflect that same enduring style,” said Forward Madison Retail Director, Alyssa Bruce. “With the Regatta Kit, we wanted to merge the classic fashion of sailing culture with our club. If we were going to put out a more reserved kit it had to tie to a significant part of our community.”
The Regatta Kit channels the effortless elegance of classic Mediterranean sailing regattas and vintage resort sportswear. Anchored in a clean, optic-white base the kit features crisp navy blue horizontal stripes spanning the torso and sleeves. The kit dons a ribbed polo v-neck collar and accompanying ribbed sleeve cuffs. “FMFC” is spelled out in nautical terms across the nap of the neck, and includes a custom 3D printed “Sailing Club” jock tag.

Forward Madison FC will wear the kits for their September 2nd match as part of their Yacht Rock Night against One Knoxville SC. Fans that night will be treated to a captains hat giveaway sponsored by Dairyland Insurance, Yacht Rocks tunes by Top Shelf, and sailing demonstration by the Wisconsin Hoofers Sailing Club. The collection is available online and at our Breese Stevens Field Stadium Shop. Forward Madison FC will auction off the Match Worn Kits starting at 10 AM on Thursday, September 3rd for 48 hours. 100% of proceeds will benefit the Clean Lakes Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to the improvement and protection of the lakes, streams, and wetlands in the Yahara River Watershed.
