Forward Madison FC returns to Breese Stevens Field on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. CT to face fourth-place One Knoxville SC for Yacht Rock Night. The Flamingos enter the matchup riding a 2-1 road victory over the Richmond Kickers on Saturday, with Madison sitting third in the USL League One standings, just four points ahead of Knoxville. With the playoff race heating up, the Flamingos will look to carry their momentum into Breese and secure another crucial three points.

MADISON, Wis. — Forward Madison FC claimed another chapter of the Henny Derby on Saturday night, defeating the Richmond Kickers 2-1 at City Stadium to keep the rivalry trophy in Madison for another year.
The Flamingos wasted no time setting the tone, with Roman Torres finding the back of the net in just the second minute to give Madison an early advantage. Forward continued to battle throughout the match before Eddie Munjoma doubled the lead in the second half, putting the Flamingos in control. Richmond pulled one back on the final play of the match, but Madison held on to secure all three points.
The victory marks another successful Henny Derby for the Flamingos, who first claimed the trophy with a 4-0 victory over Richmond earlier this season. With Saturday’s win, the Henny trophy stays in Madison until next year.
The three points also keep Forward Madison firmly in third place in the USL League One standings, now sitting just three points behind first-place Charlotte Independence and second-place Union Omaha, who both have 46 points. With the playoff race tightening, the Flamingos will look to carry the momentum from Richmond into the final stretch of the regular season.
