Forward Madison FC is officially playoff-bound.
The Flamingos officially clinched their place in the USL League One Playoffs on Saturday night with a 3-0 victory over AV ALTA FC at Breese Stevens Field, securing a postseason berth earlier than ever before in club history.
Madison set the tone from the opening whistle, controlling possession and consistently pressuring the AV ALTA defense. Eddie Munjoma opened the scoring in the 20th minute, giving the Flamingos a 1-0 lead that they carried into halftime.
The Flamingos continued to control the match in the second half before Ryan Carmichael doubled the advantage in the 84th minute. Josh Bolma then capped the night with a goal in stoppage time to complete the 3-0 victory.
The result officially secured Madison a spot among the top eight teams advancing to the USL League One Playoffs, marking another milestone in the club’s 2026 campaign.
With their playoff spot secured, the Flamingos’ focus now shifts to the final stretch of the regular season. With the postseason secured, Madison will look to stay in the top four and earn home-field advantage for the playoffs at Fortress Breese.
