Over the past several weeks, Forwrard Madison fans have taken part in a voting competition which saw the Flamingos' best goals from 2019 narrowed down from 32 to a single winner. With the votes from the final round now tabulated, FMFC's inaugural Goal of the Year winner is Don Smart, who topped the list for his curling effort against FC Tucson on Aug. 3.
Smart, who has already been confirmed as a returning player for the Mingos' second season, led Forward Madison with nine goals in all competitions in 2019.
